PURPOSE
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation & Future Transportation Technology program is designed to prepare students to become highly competent aviation professionals, technology innovators, and future transportation leaders who can successfully respond to the rapidly evolving demands of the global aviation, aerospace, and advanced transportation industries. The program provides an interdisciplinary education that integrates aviation operations, professional flight, aircraft maintenance technology, aviation safety and security, airport and airline management, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), advanced air mobility (AAM), artificial intelligence, automation, and future transportation technologies.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completing this degree, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of aviation operations, aviation management, aircraft systems, maintenance technologies, aviation safety, security, and future transportation systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of fundamentals of Christian Doctrine and theology.
- Utilize emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, digital aviation systems, and advanced transportation technologies, to improve organizational performance and operational effectiveness.
- Promote aviation safety, security, regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability, responsible professional practice and leadership.
- Demonstrate effective leadership, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills within multidisciplinary and multicultural professional environments.
