Bachelor of Arts in Theology with an Emphasis in Biblical Studies

PURPOSE

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree program is designed to prepare students for Christian ministries through a thorough knowledge of the Bible (including biblical languages), biblical theology, practical ministry training, biblical studies, and for graduate study.

OBJECTIVES

Upon completing this degree, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the Scripture.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of fundamentals of Christian Doctrine and theology.
  • Accurately interpret the Bible using sound hermeneutical principles.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate the truth of Christ's message of salvation to others.
